A New Concept in Life Drawing with Weimin He

This class aims to be different from the usual approach to life drawing. Rather than learning to copy the appearance of the human body, these six sessions are designed to teach people to analyse and memorise the essential structure of the human body, not only anatomically, but also geometrically. Together with David Barker, Anne Farrer, Tim Mosely and Mark Graver, Weimin He goes to Harbin as one of the judges of 'Heilongjiang International Exhibition of Children's Prints' , meeting prominent printmakers such as Chao Mei, Zhang Zhenqi, Hao Boyi and many younger printmakers.

Her Majesty The Queen officially opens the new Ashmolean Museum. Weimin He's seven woodblock prints 'The Ashmolean Builders' and his newly published catalogue are presented to The Queen as present of The Ashmolean Museum.

A catalogue Building the New Ashmolean - Drawings and Prints by Weimin He is published by The Ashmolean Museum. The catalogue is sponsored by BAM, the construction company and Heyan'er Ethical Fashion in Beijing.
